What it costs and how it is done...
My rate structure is simple and comparable to other copyediting services. I charge per word on any size document or Web site and use Track Changes in Microsoft Word® as well as standard proofreaders' marks on printed copy. Documents should be 1.5 or double-spaced, in a common font style (Tahoma, Arial, etc.) and size (10 or 12 pts.), and submitted as a Word document attachment in e-mail, or they can be faxed to me. If you have a Web site that needs checking, e-mail the URL to me. I will calculate all fees and send you an invoice. Then, as soon as payment is confirmed, your work will be proofread and delivered back to you promptly via e-mail or fax. I accept business checks and PayPal. |
